Blackened Death Metal

We are not quite black metal purists, nor a death metal act, nor a progressive metal band, nor an orchestral ensemble. Our sonic footprint lurks unconstrained, blending multiple genres and proudly defying musical norms. We are not traditionalists (even though we sometimes use traditional instruments in our music!)… because no traditionalist ever pushed boundaries into new territory. Our goal is to make music that sounds epic, melodic, kick-ass and brutal, without compromising on any of these elements. As one of our fans puts it, the kind of music that turns your cat into a lion and your pet lizard into a dragon! If that requires tearing up the rulebook, we’ll tear up the rulebook!

We intentionally write our songs as vocal as well as instrumental pieces in their own right, and release both versions of our albums, to give you both the lyrical story-telling experience and the unadulterated musical arrangements on their own.
